A Note about Anthony Bourdain

Today. I woke to the sad news of Anthony Bourdain's death. While I didn't know him personally, I am devasted and I know I'm not the only one whose body hurts with sadness. I cannot imagine how the friends and family who loved him are feeling now and my thoughts are with all of them.

How We Make It: The Gramercy Plate

Did you know? Our Gramercy Collection is made using a jiggering process. A slab of clay is put into a mold (that we make in-house). That mold is centered on a pottery wheel. The profile of the plate is attached to a mechanical arm that is then brought down to compress the clay into the mold.
