About Keith Kreeger
I am an artist, designer and a maker.
I have been making pots almost every day since I first took a pottery class at Skidmore College in 1994. I grew up on the East Coast, beginning my professional life in clay with my first studio on Cape Cod.
My family and I moved to Austin in 2009 and I’ve been doing my work in this incredibly supportive city ever since.
I believe that the objects we surround ourselves with are able to bring joy to a space on a daily basis.
I am trying to make work by hand that is full of life. I want my work to be clean, polished and also find a home within the long traditions of handmade ceramics. I love that when you bring my work home, you play a role in helping my work finish its job.
About my Ceramics
I have been working with clay for my entire adult life and have made different versions of ceramics throughout that time. For a little more than a dozen years I focused on making custom dinnerware for restaurants and the home.
Since 2023, I have been working as a studio artist, making one-of-a-kind pieces. Most recently, I have been working on large-scale ceramics for the home and garden.
About my Photography
I have always taken pictures. Mostly of my ceramics, travel, or family.
I recently started to take photos for their own sake and began to understand photography as part of my creative works. In 2024 I released my first collection of ltd. edition prints with COASTAL, a series of Medium-Format and 35mm Photos from Cape Cod, MA.
I am excited to see what the future brings for my photography.
