KK Studios at POP Austin
I snuck out of my studio during EAST for the first time ever last weekend and went over to POP Austin to speak about creativity, collaboration and community. I was honored to have my friend, Michael Fojtasek, chef/owner of Olamaie be part of the conversation. Michael is an incredible chef, but an even better person. He is fully dedicated to the idea of building a community through his work. He sources from Central TX farmers and ranchers, has a great team in his kitchen and is an active member of the Southern Foodways Alliance.
We discussed how we collaborate, how the creative process works both in the kitchen and the studio and how you can use your work as a launching point to build a better community.
